Evermore is the only bereavement advocacy nonprofit in the United States. Bereavement — the death of someone meaningful in our lives — is a direct concern for millions in America, making an organized, coordinated, and evidence-based approach both urgent and necessary. Over the last three years, Evermore has made extraordinary strides in transforming bereavement policies and systems in Washington, D.C., and beyond.

Evermore has championed and secured bereavement provisions in the U.S. appropriations process, paid bereavement leave in President Biden’s Build Back Better agenda, and has moved federal agencies to prioritize bereavement. Over 5,000 people have joined our movement, and they are leading change from a Mississippi Moose Lodge to multinational employers.
