Serena Hawtin, Program Director

Serena Hawtin is the Program Director at The Greater Sum Foundation, bringing nearly a decade of nonprofit experience in communications, storytelling, and brand strategy. She has served as a creative liaison for mission-driven organizations, specializing in video content and strategic messaging. Serena holds dual bachelor's degrees in Digital Media Arts (University of Florida) and International Relations (Florida International University), and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration at LSU Shreveport. A Florida native and proud Army spouse, she lives on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, where she enjoys solving mysteries, hiking, learning languages, weight training, and planning community events.

Dani Tafolla

Dani Tafolla, Community Impact Coordinator

Dani Tafolla is a Xicana Anthropologist excited to serve The Greater Sum's team as their Community Impact Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor's in Anthropology and Master's in Forensic Behavioral Science. Dani is passionate about impact and the many ways data can inform and influence us. With over 7 years in the nonprofit world, Dani is excited to join TGS and help early-stage nonprofits thrive and engage in our alumni community. She enjoys crocheting, reading diversely, and entertaining her rowdy black cats.

Anna Taylor

Anna Taylor, Executive Director

Anna Taylor is Executive Director of The Greater Sum Foundation. Under her leadership, Greater Sum has supported over 100 organizations through strategic funding, capacity-building tools, and a virtual incubator model focused on long-term impact and sustainability.

Anna spent 17 years working for Take Stock in Children in local and statewide roles, all focused on expanding educational access for low-income, first-generation college-bound students. She holds degrees in cultural anthropology from the University of Florida and George Washington University, a background that shapes how she listens, asks questions, and works across differences to build stronger organizations.

Anna lives in Florida with her husband, a small-town fire chief, and their two children. In addition to her role at Greater Sum, she serves on the board of Evolving Minds and Camp Silver and mentors a Take Stock in Children scholar.

Justin Hunsaker

Justin Hunsaker, Chairman of the Board

Executive Communication Coach, Hunsaker Coaching, LLC

Justin Hunsaker is a Lead Consultant at John Polk & Associates with over 20 years of leadership experience across Fortune 500 banks and tech startups. He combines a strong background in product launches and coaching with a passion for human-centered design. Justin earned an Executive Master’s in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School. He co-developed Capital One’s “Creating Effective Presentations” workshop and now helps clients master communication, influence, and leadership. As Board Chair of The Greater Sum Foundation, Justin supports nonprofits tackling systemic challenges, bringing his strategic and facilitation skills to drive greater impact.

Lauren Daley

Lauren Daley, Board Member

Lauren Pasquarella Daley, Ph.D., is Associate Vice President of Employer Mobilization at JFF, where she leads strategy development and implementation to build an employer movement advancing equitable economic mobility and quality jobs. Her work focuses on career development, inclusive talent practices, and fostering cross-sector communities of practice that move employers from awareness to action. Prior to joining JFF, Dr. Pasquarella Daley was Vice President of Women and the Future of Work at Catalyst, Inc., where she directed organization-wide strategy, research, donor engagement, and corporate training initiatives focused on building a more equitable future of work. She holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida, with certifications in career and mental health counseling.

Prabha Dublish

Prabha Dublish, Board Member

Prabha is the first product hire at Grow Therapy, where she focuses on helping clients find the right therapist and has led the launch of key features including the company’s first telehealth platform and AI features. She previously spent three years at Facebook, transitioning from product marketing to product management and specializing in 0→1 product development. Prabha began her career by founding a nonprofit that funded over 50 women and deployed $50K toward women’s empowerment. Linkedin

Shona Jackson, Board Member

With over 17 years of experience in banking, I bring a deep understanding of operations, process improvement, and project management. I’ve spent my entire professional career at Capital One, where I’ve had the opportunity to grow through a variety of roles that have sharpened my skills in collaboration, leadership, and delivering results. I’m passionate about creating efficient systems and helping teams work smarter, not harder. Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to two teenage boys who keep life busy, fun, and full of surprises. We live in Northern Virginia, where I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active in the community, and supporting causes that make a meaningful difference. I’m excited to serve on this board and contribute to the mission through a lens of thoughtful strategy, practical insight, and a genuine commitment to making an impact.

Richard Mandel

Richard Mandel, Board Member

Richard Mandel is a member of the Board of Greater Sum and also serves as a Subject Matter Expert in matters of business law. Richard is a retired corporate attorney who specialized in entrepreneurial law and is Professor Emeritus of Business Law at Babson College where he served in a variety of roles including Chair of the Academic Finance Division and Acting Dean of the Undergraduate School. Richard holds a Bachelors Degree in Government and Meteorology from Cornell University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He lives in the Boston, Massachusetts area with his wife and two dogs and visits with his two children and 4 grandchildren frequently. In addition to his service with The Greater Sum, Richard produces (and occasionally acts in) community theatre, practices pet therapy with his dogs at local high schools and colleges, and maintains a large vegetable garden.

Lawrence Smith

Lawrence (Chris) Smith, Board Member

Chris Smith is a dynamic educator and facilitator with over 25 years of experience in adult learning and professional development. Chris' expertise in curriculum development, professional training, and leadership has garnered recognition from some of the most influential institutions and stakeholders in education and beyond. His expertise in creating engaging and impactful learning experiences ensures that program participants will receive the tools and knowledge needed to succeed. Chris' passion for mentorship and his ability to adapt content to diverse learning styles make him a subject matter in education. From local classrooms to statewide programs, his work continues to inspire and impact hundreds of educators, students, and community members across the country.

Steven Bloomfield

Steven Bloomfield

Steven Bloomfield has served at the hub of higher-education administration, community service, international affairs, and university-based advising and mentoring for nearly forty years. For a few decades at Harvard University and, most recently, at Brown University, Steve held various leadership positions that enabled his engagement in the enhancement of human and institutional development. Born in New York but mostly residing in New England, Steve has had the privilege of mission-oriented travel to many countries around the world, principally in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. He studied U.S. history in college and education in graduate school. For two years, he served as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Ecuador. His current nonprofit engagements reside with the Joy of Community Foundation, the New Politics Leadership Academy, and the Seguinland Institute. Linkedin

Elizabeth Ashley

Elizabeth Ashley Fox-Jensen, PhD, Lecturer, Designer and Researcher, Malmo University

Designer, Lecturer and Researcher at Malmö University and PhD in Digital Humanities from the School of Advanced Study (SAS) at the University of London. My research connects design, digital humanities, textural studies, database approaches and art history with a focus on visual and graphic design, interaction design and media communication. I promote accessibility and sustainability through interdisciplinary collaborations, employing methodologies including case studies, action research, visual representation, and research through design. My work incorporates design principles, UX/UI principles and AI tools, resulting in enhanced digital publications, catalogue raisonnés and exhibition designs. Kristin E. Joys

Kristin E. Joys, Director, Impact Entrepreneurship Initiative, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center, University of Florida, University of Florida

Dr. Kristin Joys directs the Impact Entrepreneurship Initiative and the Ignite Impact Leadership Program at the University of Florida's Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center. Since 2005, she has created opportunities for students to explore high-impact entrepreneurship, impact-driven innovation, strategic venture planning, strategic giving, strategic impact, and impact leadership. 

Through experiential learning consulting projects and innovative curriculum development, she has empowered thousands of students to become strategic problem-solvers, high-impact entrepreneurs, and innovative business & community leaders.

Kristin also runs Do Good Well Consulting, where since 2002, she has helped individuals and ventures to leverage their time, talent, and resources to create strategic impact. She particularly enjoys working with hybrid impact ventures-- bridging for-profit and nonprofit models; she also loves helping folks find and create high impact ventures and careers.

Kristin delights in living in a historic home built in 1912, collecting & sharing information, supporting local farmers, practicing yoga, biking while listening to podcasts, and collecting quotable cards.

Brock Mcbride

Brock Mcbride, Director, PwC

Brockett is CPA that audits public and non-public companies, including not-for-profit entities, for PwC. He primarily serves clients in health industries with revenues exceeding $1B, but has been involved with the Greater Sum since its inception, supporting NFP start-ups of all sizes. He also serves as the Treasurer for the Chicago area Boy Scouts of America council.

Paul Morris

Paul Morris, Principal, Foundry Fundraising

A highly-skilled professional comfortable with strategic visioning and “brass-tacks” tactical fundraising. Over a 30+ year career in fundraising, Paul’s work has resulted in tens of millions of dollars being raised and thousands of donors being engaged for a wide spectrum of not-for-profit organizations. He has led successful development efforts in direct health services at the state and national levels; regional theatre; architectural preservation; a statewide organization offering chess to low-income students; lead development, communication, and operations for an organization focused on breaking generational cycles of poverty in outer NE Portland through a classroom curriculum and 1:1 mentoring; and most recently lead development efforts for an environmental education organization set on a 100-acre site in the metro area. Now, in his consulting practice, Paul works with clients nationwide with a focus on planning/systems, annual and major gift support, and grants. Linkedin

Leslie Simone, President, Climb 10

Leslie Simone is a certified executive coach and strategic advisor who helps mission-driven founders transform early-stage vision into sustainable, high-growth enterprises. As founder of Climb 10, Leslie blends evidence-based organizational psychology with playful, high-performance conscious leadership coaching. She has co-developed and taught graduate leadership courses at Stanford University and regularly advises coaches and mastermind groups nationwide. Leslie holds an ALM in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Harvard University Extension School and a BS from Babson College. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and son.

As a visionary creator and storytelling educator, Kimberlee’s entrepreneurial approach challenges perspectives that reinforce the status quo and leans toward the discovery of possibilities. An innovative leader, creative thinker, and decorated war veteran of the U.S. Army with 20+ years of professional service in health promotion programming, her distinct value is her ability to cultivate insightful conversations. Kimberlee has worked with thousands of people and facilitated hundreds of meaningful dialogues for the purpose of expanding perspectives on how we can improve our lives and the lives of others in society. She believes anything possible when creating consciously. In that spirit, she founded The Tenacious Rose Project which represents a collective of artists, creatives, communicators, and entrepreneurs that use creative expression to change the world.
